We designed the entire pool area and front driveway to the house along with the terraces. Large, 8" square oak pergolas, constructed in the traditional way with mortice and tenon joints, are covered in English roses, and a long lavender hedge runs the entire length of the pool on both sides. Brick lines were built into the terrace to tie the paving back to the brick farmhouse. Wide steps lead from the drive to the front door and the front of the house is covered with Dublin Bay and Wedding Day roses.
