Planning the perfect palette of colours for your garden is a priority. The hard landscaping is vital, but the plants are the soft furnishings - the things that make all the difference.

When it all comes together and you start to see trees being carried, or craned, onto site, it's a magical and exciting time. The plants will all be installed for you, ready to make a huge impact in the years to come. Each garden needs plants that grow well in the climate and weather conditions. If you're near the sea or in a windy, exposed site it's important that each chosen plant can withstand the elements. Your soil type, whether acid or alkaline needs to be taken into consideration and the eventual height and maintenance of shrubs must be evaluated too.

Mature trees make a big impact in a new garden and we work with local nurseries and also source from Italy and Holland. We can find any size of tree or hedge to create an instant screen and provide privacy where needed. In a London garden, we once brought in a whole row of seven metre oak trees to hide a block of flats and added £350,000 to the value of the property! Trees make a massive difference, and we love siting specimens.
