My clients used this beautiful cottage as a bolt hole until Covid struck and they moved down permanently, escaping London. We had used abundant planting, with new flowering Cherry trees to mark the season and added hundreds of tulips. There are far-reaching views from the elevated seating position and the conservatory is flanked by a wonderful stone wall, planted with pockets of ferns and alchemilla. Working with Transform Landscapes, we built York stone paths and steps - replacing the crumbling and dangerous walkways from before. The client is a keen and knowledgable gardener and I love visiting to see her additions, like the Yew arch at the end of the path.
